After confirmation of his ill, he died: Bruce, only two years old. One year later (1991) get the divorce of her mother. It was impossible to live together. You may think I like women. No, Bruce, I don't. I only like men. Why I get married with her long time ago? I don't know, still I don't know. But the best thing happened to me in my life was Israel. And the great tragedy in my life was his death.

And now i live alone, working from thirty years ago in a big public hospital in Madrid, in urgences area , five days a week, one saturday or sunday per month, and 24 hours/day one day per month.
There in the hospital I knew a beautiful, intelligent, good man, a little bit younger than me which is my best friend. We are not married, he lives at his home, me in my home. But most of time we are together when is possible due specially to our jobs. He works from a lot of years ago in an Institute for cardiovascular deseases!!, in investigation.
Well Bruce, than you for your messages, don't forget to write me telling me everthing you wish. Have a good day together to your husband. I suppose we have been together nearly our whole lives. We were 24 when we met. We both turn 72 this December. Bryn's birthday is the 15th and mine is the 29th.
Bryn knew he was gay when he was in highschool. I had several girlfriends in school. It wasn't until I went to university that I discovered that I am gay. I think our generation was not as tolerant of homosexuality as today's. We were evicted from our first apartment, couldn't get a mortgage as a couple, and were beaten up leaving a nightclub. Today gays can marry legally and with all the rights of heterosexual couples.
We are all a little adventurous when we are young. The trick to staying young (at heart) is to hang on to your youthful spirit of adventure.
