Always together. So many photos of young couples then we come to the photo of the mature couple. This post started us thinking about us... our life together. Well, we started sifting through old photographs. Some on albums, some in boxes, some on the computer. We have put together a large collage of us from when we were 25 and had just met right up to photos taken at the lake this summer. Our life together spread out in front of us...seeing how much we have changed and how much we are still the same.... so many memories. Thank you so much Henri! We have had a lovely day putting all of this together. We are going to put all the photos on the wall on our bedroom. Naturally we will leave space to add more memories.
What a wonderful message, Bryn and Bruce. All your life together in hundreds of photos, from yours 25 until now. Many memories, of course, and a lot of nostalgy (I imagine). Life change us in many things, but a real and true love was, is, and will be always the same, and forever. Like yours, my dear couple. Oh God, how I should like to see your albums, these boxes fulls of photos, and these wall decorated with your life !!!. I'm proud to be your friend, and very glad you had had a nice day putting your photos together, after to look the post. Thank you very much, and I send you my best hugs and kisses, my friendly and my love. Henri.
Yes indeed Bryn and Bruce, what a wonderful message. As I have said elsewhere on this blog, my first love was a much older man. I was a nervous twenty something, he was gentle and kind and helped me to accept who I was at a difficult time for me. He asked me to move in with him, but I wasn’t ready for it and I often look back and wonder “what if …”. He was my first, the age difference meant that he would not have been forever, but we might have enjoyed many good years together. I have never found Mr Right and admire those who did. Love, hugs and kisses Phil
What wonderful Bryn and Bruce's message, and what wonderful your message, Phil. Your first, at twenty, so young. Nostalgy? , probably, or not, Phil? You'll never forget Mr Right. He's part of your life, a wonderful love story, short, but very nice. As wonderful is Bruce and Bryn's long love story. You all three, are wonderfuls, my great friends. Kisses, love and hugs. Henri.
Oh, Phil. The happy memories that you cherish of your first will always be with you. It is a trite thing to say but; don't give up hope...love can sneak up on you.
